  • My argument to visit the UK is a simple one. In the advent of Brexit the UK will be made more difficult to visit and our welcome may not be as warm. we must take advantage of the ease of travel now while we can.

What should we see? That is also easy..
    Greyfriars Bobby.

The famous statue to the bravest dog is in Scotland and in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland we would enjoy the very best that Scotland has to offer.

    Who is Greyfriar'Bobby you ask?

Well' Bobby was a small dog belonging to old jock and he was as faithful as any dog could be. When his master died Bobby followed him to the cemetery and spent the rest of his life living on jocks grave. The local council fought to have Bobby removed but eventually the law allowed for Bobby to live as he wanted, as new to his master as he could be.

Books and films have been made about Bobby and the statue of him is surrounded by history, culture an a fusion of modern Edinburgh.

It would be enriching for us to experience Edinburgh and of course, Greyfriar's Bobby.
